A little about GDPR

GDPR creates consistent data protection rules across the European Union (EU) and applies to companies based in the EU as well as companies around the world that provide services and process data from or about individuals in the EU. GDPR has a broader scope than current EU data protection laws and substantial fines for compliance violations. There is a higher standard of consent required from individuals and GDPR provides for broader individual rights to accessing and porting data.
